About the Book

You’ve spent years bracing for impact — waiting for someone to be upset, disappointed, or needing more from you than you could give. Your nervous system learned survival, not safety.

And even now, it still whispers:
“You’re too much.”
“You’re not enough.”
“You should’ve known better.”

Permission to Heal is your invitation to finally rewrite that script.

Grounded in trauma-informed care, nervous system healing, and compassionate psychology, this book helps you understand why guilt and shame feel so heavy — and how to release them without bypassing your real experiences.

With practical tools, client-inspired stories, and gentle but direct guidance, you’ll learn how to:

  • Recognize survival responses

  • Understand how trauma fuels guilt and shame

  • Build inner safety

  • Replace self-blame with compassion

  • Practice self-forgiveness

  • Unlearn people-pleasing and over-functioning

  • Reclaim your boundaries, voice, and self-worth

This isn’t a “think positive” book.
It’s a healing-at-the-roots guide for the woman who’s tired of carrying emotional burdens that were never hers to begin with.

What You'll Learn

Who This Book Is For

This book is for the woman who:

  • Feels guilty even when she hasn’t done anything wrong

  • Says yes to keep the peace (and pays for it later)

  • Struggles to set boundaries without panic or shame

  • Overfunctions, overexplains, or overapologizes

  • Has a “pit in the stomach” feeling when she speaks up

  • Knows she deserves better — she just doesn’t know where to start

  • Is ready to stop surviving and start actually living

If you resonated with Breaking Free from People Pleasing, this is the deeper, softer, more embodied next step.

What Makes This Book Different

There are plenty of self-help books about shame.

There are plenty of trauma books.

There are plenty of books about boundaries.

This is the only book that puts all three together in a way that is:

  • Trauma-informed

  • Nervous-system centered

  • Compassion-driven

  • Straightforward and actionable

  • Written specifically for adult women carrying childhood and relational wounds

You don’t just read this book — you experience it.
